Katey Walker has always been captivated by the Connecticut shoreline, where she grew up. The vibrant colors, organic shapes, and the serene ambiance of the ocean have profoundly influenced her design aesthetic. These natural elements are echoed throughout her jewelry collection, complemented by global adornment styles she has encountered during her travels abroad.

After earning a BA from Suffolk University in Boston, Katey pursued her passion for jewelry design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Post-graduation, she apprenticed at one of the last remaining large fine jewelry production companies in New York's diamond district, creating pieces for esteemed brands like Tiffany and David Yurman. This invaluable experience allowed her to refine her bench skills and deepen her understanding of the jewelry production process.

As a jeweler, Katey is dedicated to crafting unique and wearable environmentally responsible jewelry. Each piece is meticulously handmade from high-carat yellow and rose gold, along with a variety of natural gemstones, in her Connecticut River Valley studio.
